BlueHills Harvesting Ltd. is a prominent logging operation that has been a distinguished leader in the industry since 2006. We specialize in stump-to-dump harvesting, leveraging our extensive experience, advanced equipment, and highly skilled personnel to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible services while prioritizing safety. Our commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards is demonstrated through our COR Certification, which we have held since 2007, and the employment of a qualified safety auditor.
We continually pursue innovation within our safety programs and incorporate the latest technological advancements to enhance our operational efficiency. Our ownership and management team, along with our supervisors, maintain a hands-on approach to daily operations, ensuring seamless execution. Our fleet is well-equipped with an array of machinery, including bunchers, skidders, processors, crawlers, log loaders, excavators, graders, log trucks, lowbed trucks, and multiple camp facilities, enabling us to effectively manage all aspects of the logging process.
2006-2012
In its early years, Simon and his team operated as subcontractors for various mills across Alberta and British Columbia. Recognizing the efficiency and high performance of BlueHills’ processors, Canfor awarded the company a prestigious stump-to-dump contract in 2012.
2018: Expanding the Vision
To support the company’s growth, Willie and Garry joined as shareholders in 2018, bringing valuable expertise and leadership. Since then, BlueHills has expanded from a single processor to a fleet of 40 pieces of state-of-the-art equipment and secured additional contracts with Canfor in Whitecourt and Fox Creek.

Today, BlueHills proudly logs over 550,000 cubic meters annually. Our continued success is driven by a steadfast commitment to hard work, teamwork, and consistently delivering exceptional results.
